电影人介绍 Introduction
姬京璐
Ji Jinglu is a filmmaker and visual artist based in Los Angeles and Beijing. Her work mainly focuses on human's desire, unconsciousness, traumas, and the gender issues. She tends to tell the human story in a surrealistic and ironic representation. Her short film has premiered at the 2017 Women's Independent Film Festival, where she won the Best Editing, and it was selected into several international screenings. Over the last two years, Ji worked on films including Tea Pet (2017) produced by Light Chaser Animation Studios, Pacific Rim 2: Uprising (2018), Gold Fish (2016) directed by Bi Gan, etc. After working a while in the industry, Ji studied in the School of the Art Institute of Chicago for her MFA in Studio Art. Currently, she is re-centering herself as a Directing Fellow at the American Film Institute.

Sydney Ribot
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Sydney Ribot has directed in China, Turkey and the U.S.; screened at international festivals; and published creative writing in the UK, South Africa and U.S. She is Argentine-American. Raised in the American South, she relocated to Istanbul in 2013 to develop a body of work outside the Judeo-Christian context. She has been a Reynolds Scholar and Critical Languages Scholar, and co-author on a book with a Harvard Business School professor. Her Middle East work ranges from ensuring the humor of Turkish comic series travels as translator/script consultant to transcribing documentary footage about Americans who joined the Peshmerga.
悉尼毕业于达特茅斯学院，曾在中国，土耳其和美国执导过，参展过不同国际电影节; 并在英国，南非和美国出版创意写作作品。悉尼是阿根廷裔美国人。她在美国南部长大，于2013年搬迁到伊斯坦布尔，在犹太教和基督教背景之外开展一系列工作。她曾是雷诺兹学者和批判语言学者，并与哈佛商学院教授共同撰写了一本书。她在中东的工作范围包括土耳其漫画系列翻译，剧本顾问，以及抄录关于加入Peshmerga的美国人的纪录片。
